Sanchin Dachi
Hourglass stance. Also referred to as pigeon-toe stance.
One shoulder-width wide, with the front foot heel equal to the back foot toe in length. Front foot turned in up to 45 degrees. Knees bent, from tension in the thighs and buttocks. Even weight distribution.
Pronounced: san-chin dah-chee
